rubber fuel lines

Guys, any problem with running fuel lines between the two metal lines that run along the frame and then up to the top of the motor? I replaced the metal lines that run up the front of the motor and the "quick disconnect" ends are no good anylonger and I want to just run fuel line if possible.

These aren't high pressure are they?

cant see why not, not high pressure only being sucked up from the tank so it cant blow out.

Just make sure it's rated to handle ULSD, and bio if you run that. I use fuel injection rated hose with a 30R9 rating that can handle bio also. Goodyear® Engineered Products :: Fuel Injection Hose SAE 30R9

My local autozoo sells it by the foot.

I have regular fuel hose to get me where I need to go this weekend. I will have to change it next weekend.

Thanks you guys. I had the same question. I changed the metal lines on mine too. I lost one of metal clips between the two lines. one year later it now leaking. Those metal were a real bitch to change too.
