Project thread for my 78 250 (WARNING: Picture heavy)
My dad gave me his old 1978 F250 Custom that had been sitting on our property for around 10 years. He told me that it was up to me to decide whether to sell it or not ($800 value). I opted to keep the truck (knowing very well that it is a big project, and that it just guzzles gas). I'm not doing a full on restoration, rather I am just getting it from farm truck to school truck condition.
Heres how it looked on the inside when I got it
And on the exterior
Now I have started to strip the interior out, and getting it ready for repainting.
Since that last picture, I have cut out the large rust holes, and I am getting ready to rivet and weld pieces in. I just dropped a bead of weld into the small holes.
I have also cut the muffler assembly out, because I am replacing the stock with Cherrybomb Glasspacks.
Keep checking back for updates.

There's only 3 now, but you need to figure that in a couple of months there will be upwards of 15 or 20 pictures, which can be bad for people with slow internet connections. It's just a general warning
Actually this project is being called off. I bought another truck to work on because this one is in such bad condition, I wouldn't have time/money to work on it. So I am now putting the interior back together with new carpet, and I am going to be selling it.
