Murff Racing T4 mounting kit(pics!!)

I finally got my T4 kit from Murff Racing today. I was supposed to get it back on the 10th, but they were unable to get it to me b/c of some issues with the company doing the ceramic coating. They got it all taken care of though and they definitely made the wait worth it! I was originally going to build my own stuff(with Cody's help of course), but for the price and the quality of this setup, I couldn't see spending the time to build my own. This is definitely worth the money and man is it nice. They have all the welds magnafluxed and the bellows have sleeves in them to prevent blowing them out and yes, they will still allow some flex. Also, they are 304 stainless IIRC. Big thanks to Jason Murff for answering my questions and making a top notch product for us. You probably quit reading already so here are the pics. Enjoy!!

I am hoping to mock them up on one of Cody's spare engines if he will let me in a few weeks just to make sure they fit real nice before I pull my engine to put in the heads, studs, turbo, and this kit.

I skim read the directions and it seems like I'll need another adapter?? I'll talk to Clay about it. They still look to short! Travis, your flex area is a lot fewer crimps but bigger then mine. I do realize yours is for a different type of turbo though. I also got my new sock and filter.

No oil plumbing included I assume? Is there provision in the plate for supply and drain?

Tim, the oil lines are not included. I'm assuming b/c of the different turbos that you can run on it(GT, S300, S400, etc.). I have to look again, but the supply should be through the pedistal like it was stock, the drain should go to the factory fuel pump hole rather than through the plate. Probably better to drain through the fuel pump hole anyways for better flow. Oil lines aren't a big deal though. They can be made pretty cheap anyways. The downpipe might be a trick, but Jason said that I can modify my stock downpipe to work w/out much trouble.

While I have the stage 2 injectors in the truck I'm going to run an S465 w/ an 83mm turbine wheel and a .90 turbine housing. Should spool pretty good w/ stage 2's and since it's an S400 series it will be plenty strong and flow plenty of air for me. I haven't gotten the turbo yet. I'm still talking with Majestic turbo on other little things before I buy it.

None of this will go in until I pull the engine which will probably be whenever Cody thinks we can get it done OR when I get the F-150 running. Main reason being b/c of the things I need to fix like oil leaks and need to figure out why there is oil running down on my passenger side manifold at the back of it.

Glenn, those look like they will fit to me. Gotta remember that with the stock setup you have a shorter uppipe b/c of how the turbo adapter is at the top for the uppipes. Mine doesn't have that and are welded solid. Stock pipes aren't very long at all. Glad you got them and can't wait to hear how you like them.

I defiantly can't wait to hear how yours turns out Travis. I was going to get mine coated but I think I'm changing my mind because they are so short. I think I could spend the money better on other stuff, like those intakes. All I want is my pulling power BACK, like it was, plus a little better because of the D66. I'm finally back home now but there is a million things to do before I can get to it, like a month maybe

I bet I could hang right beside you for a quarter mile, but somebody is too scared to line up on a drag strip.. -poke poke- It's not like you have twice the injector that I do and more air or anything. LOL

I can't wait either Glenn, but I bet you will get yours done before I even get a turbo for mine.

What do the bellows do anyways? I've not quite figured this part out yet.
