Here's so you can cry some more. Cry it out, ol' buddy.

I was actually going to buy them from my friend eventually, but it just happened that another friend of his gave him the smoothies that he wanted for free, so he passed down his set onto me. He also has a nice 51/52 chrome front bumper on his 49 that he'll trade for a chrome 48-50 front bumper. I just need to buy one from LMC for him.

Resetting the odometer to all zeros is easy once you figure out how. It's like riding a bike. Once you learn, you won't forget. Without physically doing it, I think that you have to work from right to left and pull each number our slightly and turn it to zero. It take some time to do and your fingers will hurt by the time you're done. I've reset them a few times. I should reset another one for practice.

Howdy guys, long time no see. I have been lurking here every now and again but with the new baby, and work has gotten crazy. I have not had a lot of free time to tinker with the old truck to much. I have, how ever, managed to log 500 miles on the ol girl this spring and that is why I am here. my speedo has quit working. After it took her apart I noticed that there is a little slack there where the arrow is. when the cable is installed and that piece is pushed in the speedo is inop. if the piece is not pushed in, and I spin it by hand the speedo will work. has anybody ever had this problem or made a shim to fix this before?

Hey coop!
I took a "click"pen apart and took the little spring from it.
I cut 1 coil out of the spring and I just pressed it in between that space in the speedo.
I just made sure the little was nicely tucked in the space.

Wow. Long time no see dude. Is the cab over finished yet? I ended up taking a "C" clip and grinding it to fit.

You will pick up steam again. I have not made any headway on my truck since the baby was born. Last week I did buy an interior kit. 1 of the cheap car bored ones, but it still looks a lot better than bare metal roof. Now I just need an interior light. Anybody know who makes a reproduction 1 or have one laying around to sale?
