I would call that a sucessful hunt. Was it limited entry or open season? I know the 7 day open season up here is this week, but the limited entry has been open for three weeks.

Drove up to Babine Lake for the open season ,stayed with my Wife's Aunt and Uncle in their motor home. Lots of rain but a successful hunt

Nice job Bud. The bucks are coming out stupid here now with the freeze the last few days. Was hopping to go out Saturday and get one but looks like I will be carving pumpkins. If i go out early I should get one close to home and be back in a couple of hours. Had to make four trips to town this week to take the boys to the dentist and have seen several along the highway. Again nice Bullwinkle ya got there.

I know exactly what the weather has been like around babine lake, it is pretty rare for it to be all that much different then Smithers

Where abouts on Babine did you get it?

You are one of the lucky ones, most people I have talked to haven't gotten one yet. Seams like the wolves have really taken their tole. Now deer, on the other hand, are still somewhat plentiful.
