Press Release
The first tuner for the new Ford 6.7 diesel engine hits the streets

Bully Dog Technologies is known for being First to Market with new vehicle applications and the new 6.7 Ford is no different. The new Ford 6.7 diesel engine (named the Scorpion) is hitting the streets even as you read this - months before anyone said it would be possible.

The new Ford application will be available on the Triple Dog GT line of product manufactured and released after 11/16/2010. This new application is producing amazing horsepower and torque increases resulting in legal power as the GT does not bypass the DPF filter. “What our engineers have done here is simply amazing” states Daryl Klassen, COO of Bully Dog Technologies, “The power increases are very impressive and the tuning is second to none, especially when you consider that no one else in the marketplace is even close to releasing a product for the new Ford diesel.”

As mentioned earlier the new Triple Dog GT Diesel products will be hitting the streets any day now. The earlier versions of the popular GT will have to wait for the Ford 6.7 application release as new internal product hardware was required for the application. The older GT product will be able to be updated around December 15th.

Take advantage of this limited window of opportunity to start selling the new 6.7 Ford before the update is available to anyone else. Contact your Bully Dog representative to get your order placed today.

At this time we do not have final horsepower and torque numbers, those will be released in the coming days.

They list for $699.99 on our website.

How big of a footprint is left on the truck computers for Ford to find and void the warranty?

im not sure of a tuner out there that does not leave a footprint.

even if there is one the black soot thats gonna cover the inside of your exhaust pipe will be a dead giveaway.

I read yesterday about one guy that worked at a ford dealer. he said if your honest with them about having a tuner they are alot more likely to not void you.

I can vouch for this doing returns for Bully Dog. sometimes we get some mangled units in. if its blatantly obvious that somebody destroyed it and are lying about it, im gonna charge them full price. but if you just tell me the truth you might even get it for free.

Thanks for the quick and honest reply. I was not trying to diss the product in any manner. After the 6.0 debacle and the tuner disqualifications that Ford wanted across the board, I am leery of anything that might end up in a warranty battle. Good luck with your products.

The big question should be if it will leave "black soot thats gonna cover the inside of your exhaust pipe" how much more often is regeneration going to happen. As I recall the BullyDog tuning for the 6.4 greatly increases the regeneration frequency. Not only is frequent regen annoying, but it's also going to greatly reduce the service life of the DPF.

I would think if you are going to take the chance of voiding your warranty that you might as well eliminate that process as well.

Not for me.
One I bought the 100,000 mile warranty.
Two, It's a first year production for the 6.7
Three, There WILL be footprint, if chipped.
Four, If there does become a problem while chipped, Ford will make sure it's not their fault, and will look for ANY execuse NOT to tarnish this trucks reputation.

Good Luck,
Shane

So I have to ask, where are the power and torque #'s?

How is the regen cycle affected and the DEF usage?

Are you just pouring the fuel to the motor?

How's the tranny tuning?

I agree!!! I just really want to find a fix for the incorrect gauges after a titan tank install. It is the only thing holding me back from buying a tank.

It is not a big deal - just remember that when you get close to the empty mark to check your fuel consumption.
