Those allen screws are hardened, so go to COSTCO and buy the 30 pack of drill bits. See post #9 and look at the first picture down.
I tried to do the same thing and it was a nightmare. I ended up drilling and retapping the the threads. I had to cut the door open as shown to get to it.
I would strongly recommend that you put a drop of a 50/50 mix of acetone and automatic transmission fluid on that and let it soak overnight then continue to try with the allen wrench. A GOOD allen wrench (remember if you get a Craftsman at Sears you can take it back if it strips. I'd buy about 4 or 5 maybe one or two with a "T" handle)

Ok, I looked at it today. Neither handle opens the door even if I operate them together.
There is no key lock on the door (drivers)
I can feel the mechanism move under that piece that looks like a belt loop when I operate the handles but the bolt does not move.
Next step I guess is taking the whole thing out to see whats wrong.

Okay... I got the thing removed. I don't really see anything broken, but the bolt doesn't seem to move.

Your lock mechanism is locked with a key. The latch mechanism you show is the "coveted" lock latch mechanism from a 5 Star Extra Cab (deluxe) truck. Can you please post a picture of your driver's side door?
If you don't have a hole for the lock cylinder in the driver's side door directly below the handle, then I'm thinking that the lock latch mechanism in your truck was replaced. The existing latch was likely removed from another door while it was still "locked" through the lock cylinder. #3 is where the shaft of the lock cylinder would go. Did you try turning the larger square hole above #3? That's the door handle shaft hole. Turn #3 either way and then turn the larger square hole. #2 should move as you turn the larger square hole.
As for your window regulator, you'll need to replace it. There may be shaft repair kits available. There are also rebuilt window regulators available, but I have several used ones in perfect working order much cheaper.
Can you make it home on your lunch during the week? I can check out your lock then if you don't get it going (and look through your parts).
