whine noise from my 07' F150
My 07' F150 4x4 with the 3V 5.4 has a whining noise coming from the the passenger rear tire. I didnt notice this until I got the tires that were on it switched to new rims. The tires had 20,000 miles on them and were on a 7.5" rim. The new rims the tires I put the tires on were a 8.5" rim. I know this may be the dumest theory I have ever had but, could the tires have been broke in to the smaller rims and on that the tires are on a wider rim the tires are makeing noise, which the tires never made road noise and now they do.The steering wheels also has a shake until the tires have been ran a few miles. Could it have something to do with the balancing? Only the right side rear tire is where the whine is coming from. Could the tire have a bad belt from being switched over? Is the bearing going out on that side? Is the center section of the rearend in need of rebuild? The truck only has 65,000 miles on it. Thanks for the input!
