100K + How is your truck holding up?

Just went on vacation to the Smokey Mountains and drove the 2005 Supercrew 5.4L 2WD. Put 2560 miles on from northwest Oklahoma to the mountains and back. Had 115K on the truck when we left, drove I-40 most of the way but had a lot of steep grades up and down on the blue ridge parkway and in the park. Gas mileage came out to 16.8 for the trip. There were 4 adults in the truck with luggage in the back. The truck still has a good ride brakes performed well and it pulled up the steep grades with no trouble. I think I should be able to get another 100K of good service out of the truck.

These are great trucks. Small and Large parts do fail from time to time. Some caused by things we do with our trucks and others just happen. But for me at 102K and a transmission. I'm still very pleased with the quality of my 07.

Sounds like a great trip. I have the same year and engine in a Lariat screw with 127,000 plus on the clock. No major issues. Just the small things from time to time plus routine maintenance. Just put on 2 tires and getting ready for rotors and pads in the front. I am very pleased and also hope to go another 100K in the next 4 to 5 years.
