For your rear bumper get someone to cut a piece of aluminum diamond plate and use it to fill the gap. It will make your truck look very sharp from behind. Thats what I have in my truck.

I disagree anything other than lifting the bumper looks terrible.

I never posted an updated picture, but I just ended up lifting the rear bumper up 3 inches, so no gap to fill in.

Sorry, still think gap looks terrible. It looks less terrible with the diamond plate. Bumper lift only way to go.

Thanks, but it's no longer 2wd. Fully functional 4x4 now. Converted it over the summer.

I agree, lifted both front and rear bumpers on mine after the 3" body lift.

Here's how I lifted the rear:

Other pictures, About 5-6" of lift in front end, 5" lift in rear.

Going to get some dual exhaust on it pretty soon, and next summer's project is cutting out all rust and welding new panels in, replacing fenders, etc. Blacking it all out, window tint, etc

Dana 44 TTB from a 1990 F150 donor truck. The TTB was pretty easy to throw into the truck. Also rebuilt it all. Everything on the front axle is brand new, except the gears. May do an SAS at some point in time, but I don't do much off roading so the TTB is decent for my driving right now.

Thanks, I have been considering long tube headers, but might just get dual exhaust on it to start with.

Thank you! I have a lot into this truck. It's a money pit lol. More to come.

I'm looking into either having a friend build a custom front bumper for me, or buying an aftermarket one. I want to get rid of the stock look of this truck, make it look more tough and unique lol

I wouldn't recommend buying one. They are extrememly expensive ($1500-$1800). This summer I'm going to build one for mine.
