What have you done to your truck today?
Got some home made stuff from the JY today.
I thought those pieces of carpet were factory at first. Then I realized it's pegboard someone cut out and put carpet on and then screwed to the door. Not original but I liked it and it makes the truck look much more finished and cleaner inside. I also got OEM window cranks for $5 a piece as you can see. Mine were yellow and cracked inside, these are like brand new.

Drove the truck a bit today, those carb heat shields work excellent. No more heat soak, just let it crank for a second and tap the gas and it's running. Also that Redhead steering box loosened up, no play but it's very smooth now. Must have had an air bubble in it or something. Sure don't want to sneeze doing 60 with that box. Most tiny movement makes you go left or right in a hurry. Almost scary. I'm also enjoying the carpet at the bottom of the doors.
So I did this today:
Carpet and seat were dirty, so I pulled them out to clean them up at a later date. I haven't done anything with this truck in months, but it felt good to do something on it.
The tires on my Ranger are getting old, and will need to be replaced soon. I'm planning on selling my factory slot mags and buying new wheels for the F150, so I'll more than likely be putting the tires from my Ranger on the F150.
