What have you done to your truck today?
Messed with my wiring harness and picked up my headers and intake...man they are pretty sharp looking!.
The three quick disconnect plugs on the drivers side fender. What do they control, and what does each wore do?
I know one plug the wires go to: red goes to a hot group, black/purple? Goes to ground group then a red goes to I believe oil pressure? And an orange goes to ____?
One of those plugs should be ignition related and I don't know the other
The heavy duty headlight harness I got is stupid easy to install and I highly recommend it because of how easy it is, and hopefully it will help a lot.

Saturday, I replaced the upper radiator hose. After having an early breakfast, and upon returning to my truck, I saw what appeared to be a "dripping" trail. At first, I thought, that must be from another vehicle, but checked anyway.
This was our first really cool day of this season [39F]. I couldn't believe it since I have recently made a 1250 mile round trip with absolutely zero problems. I tried to tighten the clamp, but it still leaked, so I replaced the hose and all is good!
Isn't it great to be able to go to the parts store and one is waiting on the shelf and the truck is 29 years young! With tax, $14.16 and it was good to go!
Fix Or Repair Daily... maybe, but so inexpensive!

Installed my correct 80-86 door glass and vent window! It's great to have the right parts installed on my truck again.
Also painted the center **** on one of my new locking hubs. I need to figure out what to do about the silver and black FORD sticker that goes in the center since I don't think they're reproduced. Might have to get creative and hand paint it.

Shaun - Looks good. But, do you need a screw for the mirror mount?
Matthew - If your lenses are like mine the plastic of the lens has darkened all the way through, so while it looks good in the daytime after polishing it isn't any better at night. Dark and dim. I went through this a couple of years ago and finally bought new lenses - much brighter. MUCH!

Thanks, but I actually have a box full of mirror screws. What I really need is to drill the holes for the lower mount, and to drill the hole for that missing screw. Then I need to find a riv-nut gun and finally get the mirrors secured to the door. My truck originally had the sport (car) mirrors on it, so I only currently have the two holes that you see screws in.
Shaun - Ok, understand.
As for what I did to my truck, I installed a home-made heavy-duty headlight relay harness on Rusty today, with one pic here and many there:
And, I got started re-installing the AEM wideband AFR meter, and this time it is mounted to the shroud around the steering column. Again, one pic here and many there:

Today, I gave my wife puppy dog eyes for my head bolts. Didn't work. Gotta see what the next paycheck or two has. All I want for Christmas is no leaks.
