Fixed my am/fm, I hope. FM would quit working when I hit a bump, sometimes you coukd get it to work by tapping on it with a screwdriver handle. Worse when it's cold. I fixed cb's that had issues with cold solderjoints, so suspected something loose. When it was dead you could make it work by pushing up on the clip thing on the bottom of the radio, so flexing the circuit boards "fixed" it. After poking around and not seeing anything obvious, I checked the screws holding the circuit board in, and they were loose, so tightened them all up pretty snug and appears to be fixed. We'll know for sure in the morning, but looks good.
Does the radio use the screws as a ground path or something?
No, it has a bracket on the bottom that slides over the metal radio mount in the dash. My issue was internal, because fm would quit, but am was fine. I wanted the original radio for looks, and all I listen to is xm, so don't need cassette or cd.
You. If the guy has all the rest, maybe he has any linkage you might need. But, IIRC, you have what you need.
Now I understand. In the picture it's just the engine, transmission, and the transfer case. He hasn't even separated any of it, but it is out of the truck, or Bronco. I'm not sure exactly what he pulled it out of.
The biggest piece of linkage I need is the rear drive shaft. The A/T kick down linkage wouldn't hurt either.
