Stock shocks look like toys compared to the Kings
Rear brake lines are a pain, access is much better with the spare wheel removed. After bleeding the brakes with a Motive Power bleeder worked well.
Front done:
I ran into a problem with the front install. The bushings on the Carli track bar was about 20 thousands too wide. It would not fit. With a little effort I was able to remove enough material to make it fit with a file.
As for the rear, I wasn't able to get the rear springs out. Removing the front nut and bolt on the leaf springs was just not happening. I tried heating the nut but my impact wouldn't move it. Maybe if I had a 175psi compressor it would have. Also with the truck just up on jack stands I wasn't able to get enough leverage with a breaker bar to move it. Tomorrow I will try to find a shop that can put the rear leafs in.

I had a similar problem with removing the leafs on my old super duty.
In my case, the rubber in the bushing had deteriorated and fused itself with the bolt. Ended up having to cut thru it with a gas axe and put in a new spring hanger etc.
I wouldn't expect such an issue with a truck that isn't that old, but if you applied heat, you may have melted the bushing onto the bolt???
Thanks for sharing the install, appreciate it.

I love that lift kit, but after researching all of them, I guess I'll have to settle on the BDS 4 link with Fox shocks, (no cutting required). We'll see.... and price was a little more palatable, but you get what you pay for I guess! Looks good though, can't wait to see the finished product. What kind of tires will you be running?
