Is this an Electrical Issue?

Hello everyone,

Here is the issue with my 2006 Ford F250 XLT (5.4L) . When I turn on my heater or defrost system for about a 30 minute drive. My tachometer will drop to Zero. I have no problems when I turn on my AC unit. I changed my battery and checked the fuse under the dash. Everything looks good with the fuses. I also have power when my Tachometer needle drops to zero.

I just wanted to know if this is a ground issue or electrical issue. Does anyone know where I should start. Again it only happen when I turn on my heating unit.

Thanks,

Hey everyone,

I was checking the "Tech Guides" tabs on top but there was nothing on heating or tachometer. Again if anyone as any information please let me know.

Thanks,
