It depends, if you have a flareside STX, then they won't work. If you have a styleside (regular bed) STX then they will. They go for about $165 on Ebay, I don't know what Ford charges.
Well, actually, you must not have a flareside. My neighbor has a 2009 STX flareside, and his taillights have no chrome. I'm not even sure the flaresides were still offered in 2010.
Looking at pictures online, the Harley Davidson ones still have a plastic look and an outline. I think I'll go for the aftermarket LED ones, like the Sabersport ones on Ebay. They look like normal tailights without the Fast-and-the-Furious look.
Or you could just buy a can of lens tint and some masking tape and take care of those stupid chrome tails. Check out my picture gallery. There is a rear pic in there of my tail lights.
Bah! Can't decide. The Harley ones are about $150 shipped. I guess I'll try those first. I prefer OEM over aftermarket.
What did you end up doing? I also am not a big fan of the chrome on my 2010 Lariat taillights and think black on the taillight edges would look sharper since the truck is tux black.
It's so much less gawdy. I hate all that chrome on the stock ones. Not a bad mod for $150. I got them from Tasca. It took all of 10 minutes to install.
I'm not a fan of Euro-crap aftermarket lights either. Some of them look like the stuff the import compact car crowd put on their cars.
