I have been running one for over a year. Mine mounts on top of the dash and seems to work well.
I wish it was easier to adjust the dimmer circuit, but mine is an older unit and they may have changed this feature.
I like that all the engine parameters for towing are in one spot. I am all stock, so I am mostly interested in transmission temperature. The trans. temp. is tapped into the stock transmission temp. sensor in the solenoid pack.
I drilled and tapped my driver side exhaust manifold for the EGT probe (pre-turbo) and the temperatures seem to be accurate. I don't have much boost, but I am still stock with 285,000 miles on the turbo (and everything else) so I could have leaks and wear that lower the performance.

I agree with the other posters. I've had two units. one in a 97 PSD and one in my current ride. Information is real time. I like the small footprint. My eyes aren't what they used to be and I don't need a pod of guages shining more lights in my eyes at night. I like the quick response time on boost and pyro. in fact when I first get in in the morning. while I'm waiting for the Glow plugs to cycle I can tell how cold the outside air temp is by the pyro reading. Its a good piece of equipment. been a happy user for over 6 yrs.
