i finally figured it out. what a hassle.
i had to cut the two wires leading from the door switch on the drivers side, which in effect makes those two wires into four wires.
then four of the wires from the bulldog moduule go to these four wires at the
door switch.

Evan,
Be thankful you have power locks on 3 of your doors. I have no PDL and the driver side is the only side I get into the truck with. The Passenger rear is also out of comission due to some bad hinges. Once it is open it takes anywhere from 5-10 min and 2 ppl to get closed... the price I am now paying for saving a few bucks when I bought it aren't looking as appealing. Gotta love being a thrifty shopper

I hear ya. I was too excited about getting a good deal on the truck instead of looking at what I needed to fix and the options I wanted but didn't get.

She wasn't so happy when she found out...
Thats how my 95 was.
Girls loved that too!!!! hahahahaha

i did this to my '93 XLT (so it had the power door locks of course.)
100' range if aimed just right.50' range all easy.
if you want the basic install, just unscrew the drivers side power window/lock unit.the little box can be wired in right there, and fit comfortably down under.simply put your lock unit back in,and your done.
if you want the light or horn confirmation, that's where you need to run some wires.worth it though.
