Wife's 03 Explorer has the 4.6 -80k - has ran great, but just starting idling rough then stalls. any ideas what this may be?

 

I would check the IAC (i think idle air controller). It is somewhere on the throttle body and is what allows the engine to idle when the throttle body is closed all the way. An easy way to test is to unplug the connector and if the problem gets noticably worse the IAC is probably ok. How does the truck run when not idling?
