Ok- the chirping/squeaking isn't from the hubs which some have had- this is under the hood- I'm having hard time isolating which roller/pulley/flywheel? I'm sure the bearings on one of these is about shot but how to identify which?
Should I check each of the following? Do each have the ability to fail due to bearing or other breakdown that would cause the squeak/chirp?
Alternator
Idler Pulley
Tensioner Puley
A/C
Water Pump
P/Steeering
Crankshaft
You need a mechanic's stethoscope, and try each pulley until you can isolate the source of the noise, and yes, any of them could be the cause. Have you tried replacing the belt? sometimes it's the simple stuff.
Belt replaced May 2010- and shamedly- I had the squeak then but thought the belt would take care of it but it did not. So, it has been present for 5-6 months.
