been busy.... wicked wheel install and foil delete

well gang, been a bit busy getting the "new" truck the way I want it..... finally had some time and the weather cooperated.... complete the wicked wheel install (turbo off) version.... only took a complete 8-10 hrs saturday and sunday.... I'm a little bit sore and my hands are a wreck but I got it accomplished.....
worst thing about it was getting the line-up pin on the v-pipe & turbo and then get that clamp on.....
but after frustration set in the 1st night I took it out on the foil cover IC pipe.... man is it nessy getting it off but sure does look 100% better....

truck sounds a little better and I've noticed 5-8 psi boot at lower RPMs....

Oh and the previous week I got it lifted... 4 inchs rev-tech lift .... and the guy made me a deal I couldn't refuse on a stainless grill so got that too.....

Now just got to fugure out what tunes I want for the F-5 DP tuner: I know i want the +80 and +100 hp ..... but the econ and towing ones I have to think a bit harder on ....

lift and grill pics are in my album.... tanks again guys for all the knowledge,,,, it helps even novice wrenchers to have a successful outcome!!! no telling what a shop would have charged to install that wheel....

laters, David

Sounds like you got a lot done. It sure is a pain doing some of the mods to these trucks, but it's worth it in the end.

WarOzz is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
Sounds like your getting it there! For me it's just much more rewarding doing the work myself then paying someone.
