I posted about this back when I bought it back in Feb. and I thought the problem worked itself out but its back. When the tempature drops below 55 degrees or so, comming from the passenger side of the engine there is a chugging or knocking sound, more so when RPMs are high.
I had no issues with it all summer, but now that the tempature is dropping I noticed its back. Is this something I should worry about? What could be causing this? I had the same engine in my 07 and it never did this. Thanks for all help in advance!

Take it back to the dealer and let them figure it out. Thats what warranty is for, right?

I agree with you on this. It sounds like a nice sleepover for your truck at the dealership may be the way to go. Be there in the morning for when it gets started the first time to listen and identify the noise for them.

I was wondering how many miles/Kilo you had on the truck when you first started hearing the noise. I bought my 2010 F150 in August and as it gets cold i hear a similar noise, but the noise is sometimes there even after a good run. I drove to my buddy's to have him listen to the engine but you guessed it, it wasn't making the knock. think if it happens again i'll take it in, oil change needs to be done soon anyway. If anybody has any ideas what it could be let me know. If I were to describe it I would say it's the bottom end knocking.
Mine started within the first 1,000 miles, and Im about to hit the 8,000mile mark. Again it seems like its only when the engine is cold, 50 or so degrees or less
