Ross, here's 3 that will get ya there. Now Steve has a different box than the F1 folks, so there might be some lost interpretation there.

AX...
As always, THANKS... That is great help.

Right now I have everything apart... and the steering wheel and box are just sitting there... The truck only has 84,000 miles on it, but from the wear on some of the other parts, they must have been HARD miles. (Front cab frame mount was cracked, the rear shackle holes were egg shaped)

The problem wth these basic sector style gear boxes is that they require regular maintainance and adjustment that they very seldom got plus took all the road shock directly on the gears, so the gears are often worn and/or damaged, the grease hardened and away from the moving parts, etc. It's really a toss up to rebuild one of these antique design boxes or replace it with a Toyota PS box, it will cost similar money, but with the Toy box you will have excellent PS of a relatively modern nearly maintainance free design.

I don't know if you've cleaned it yet, but on the shifter parts there are grease fittings. Not all of that is likely steering box lube.
