This is one great truck!

Glad you love your Expy. Did you replace the vacuum elbow behind the intake manifold at the firewall? They are known to go bad at the center of the bend and cause rough running on an intermittant basis.

I bought my 01 Eddie Bower for the scrape only price, I was shocked that at 13 years old nobody had fixed the factory recall that had caused them to catch fire, lose the cruse control and mine wasn't working. Local Ford dealer fixed it at no charge cruise is working. Then after adding drilled Rotors and ceramic pads on all four corners for $236.00 delivered, plugs with two coils plus changed hub bearings, fluids and got a deal on Navigator rims with virtually new rubber for winter and was still under the asking price they were originally wanted. I kept the sales agreement since nobody believes the price I paid and she runs so freaking sweet with the Magnaflow exhaust on her. Man I love this beast not sure if I love it better than my Explorer yet but it's hard since my Explorer never even slips in the snow storms here running on here 10.5x31" Wrangler Territory's. lol

Sometimes it just takes a little TLC to have a nice ride.

Isn't this the truth, they had my Expy up for sale but it was running so rough nobody was going to buy it. I plugged my obdII into the socket to see what was wrong. Simply a misfire cylinder two, I offered $500 and ended up paying $650. It's in beautiful shape but there were no electrodes left on the plugs. If they had only done a tune up. Lots of tiny fixes done and friends are so jealous knowing the price I paid. It has lots of highway miles 340k km but all kinds of power. I just picked up 1/2 cord of firewood and rides like my old Lincoln Towncar, really sweet!
