But, as much as stuff has been pulled and swapped you could potentially see them in anything..
complete and running would cost you lots.
more than its worth for 99% of applications.
the heads did get used on some boat engines, and well pump engines AFAIK
but they would most likely not have the 4 bolt block or steel crank that goes along with them.

I have seen the heads in more abundance at fairly reasonable prices. The short block has been the real money every time I have found one. What is the motive for wanting one? There are probably better ways dollar to horsepower wise than finding a SCJ . Owners of SCJ cars looking for engines keep the prices up.
you can fit any 460 block with FRPP scj's and flycut pistons for less than the price of an original SCJ. and make a hell of a lot more power at the same time.

for what you are going to pay for a complete 429CJ motor, if you can even find one, you can build a very decent 460 that will be way ahead in the hp department then a stock 429CJ motor.
460 motors are cheap and plentiful and the aftermarket is full of performance parts that can make these engines very very strong performers. leave the 429CJ for the restorers and find yourself a 460 and add a stroker kit, decent heads and intake and cam and you can have 500 - 600hp pretty easily.
