Ford ESP plan, 2015 PSD warranty
Hey all, I've got a question that I hope 2015 owners can easily answer.
I've "heard" that the premium diesel care extended warranty that covers the drivetrain to 200,000 miles now has an additional parameter. I've heard stated that ford has added an hour limit as well, so, 200,000 miles or 5,000 hours.
Is this true? My 2011 truck with the extended warranty was warranted until I reached 200,000miles, no limitation on hours. This would be a new thing that we all need to be aware of.

I purchased it for the service plan, Ford is supposed to cover everything, right down to wear parts, looking at close to $3,000 for the ESP &extended warranty. The dealership will work with you on the price just to sell it, it remains to be seen whether it will pay for itself.

It's a Ford ESP I made sure it wasn't "dealer limited". The plan is attached to the truck VIN number, it is transferable to the New owner if I sell the truck and covers all routine maintenance and wear parts, they will even replace the wiper blades, so they say. You just have to bring it to a Ford dealership to service it. We'll see how it goes, hopefully not a complete waste of money.

According to the paperwork, you should be able to purchase the ESP anytime within the limited warranty coverage period (3yr / 36K) but from any dealership or through Ford directly, not sure if that includes the maintenance plan.....

The ESP on my 6.0 has a $100 deductible. That rules out the wiper blades. LOL
