A bridge too far?

U.S. EPA Said to Permit Blending More Ethanol Into Gasoline - Bloomberg Even environmentalists are unhappy, apparently.

Anything over 13-14% changes the game with older vehicles and their fuel systems/engines. Big Corn strikes again and repair shops will be happy with the increased business. I have no problem with it if they would also allow E0 to be sold anywhere in any octane level but they won't do that.

Time for new fuel pumps on the truck, van and car. Again.
Someone needs to step in and keep the EPA from justifying it's existence.

Oddly enough, I saw a report on E15 a week or so ago. They claimed that the government had some kind of mandate to increase the use of of ethanol. Supposedly this was tied to emissions requirements.

Anyway, E15 was their answer, since the existing market was pretty much max'd out.

Not disagreeing with this post, just mentioning something that I read.
