I went two years ago and hated that I did not stay at the hotel where the show was to miss out on talking to you guys. But the dern traffic up there is pitiful. I literally hate it but I understand the need for the venue.
How about proposing moving this thing to Bowling Green at Beech Bend there is a amusement park and trees and some decent cruising up there and less traffic. I usually feel better about myself when I visit Kentucky. (Just Kidding)

I thought I would bump this up for the folks who are now marking their 2011 calendars.

We finally got our act together!!! The 2011 show will be held at The Spirit of the Smokies Condo Lodge, 2385 Parkway, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863.
The number to call for reservations is 1-865-453-4106. YOU MUST TELL THEM YOU ARE WITH THE GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAIN F-100 SHOW to get the special rates. The rates are $72.95 for a Deluxe Double Queen, $77.95 for the same with a fireplace and $82.95 for a Deluxe King Jacuzzi.
We are working on a flyer and will have it shortly so bear with us. If you have an old flyer and want to use the form on it, that's fine. Show rates are the same, $25 before and $30 day of show.
There will be a grass parking area as well as paved parking. We appreciate you guys bearing with us and we hope that you'll enjoy the new site. There is a restraurant (Wood Grill Buffet) and a show (Tennessee Shindig) on site. Show participants can get disconts for these places at the motel desk.

I plan on being there. Making reservations for all my stuff now. As much time as I spend in Pigeon Forge/Townsend, I should just move up there.
I got a chuck wagon cooking competition in February [Pigeon Forge], Bronco thing in April [Townsend], GSM show in June, and the True Blue show in September [Townsend]. Might even ride up in May and check out the Supernats.
Since I missed it last year, I can't wait to see everybody again.

Hey Lance, do you remember me talking to you about the finned Cal Custom valve covers for the FE? I wound up finding two sets. Have one set polished and hope to have them on the truck in time for the show. They're sweet!!
