Ok, I went back and caught up on the 4 pages I missed. Jeff, I had to laugh when you talked about being leader. Haha... that's a story to be told ever year for sure... I think me and you were the only ones from that show.

I can't wait to see ya'll again. Its been too long.

MountainDoc, my truck isn't finished.. I ran outta money. I'm just going to hang out, I don't plan on winnin nothin. Nothing better than sitting around with your closest friends.

So yeah, bring it if you got it. And what's this talk about too few miles and not trusting an engine... first time I drove mine to TN, I had maybe 60 miles on a fresh rebuild. Haha. Confident or dumb... not sure which, but I'd drive that truck to California tomorrow if I could afford it...well, maybe not tomorrow....cause I'm going to TN.

 

Just got home from the show. What a great time hanging out with all the FTE folks who made the trip. I have pictures but will need to get them uploaded when I have more time.
I would like to thank Stanley (Orange Crate), Kevin (55fordtruck) and all the staff of L&M promotions for putting on another great show.

Man, what a great weekend with a great bunch of guys and gals. Thanks to Stanley, Kevin and Jake for another great show. Met some FTE guys, ran the Dragons Tail, AWESOME MAN 318 curves in 11 miles. Great truck show too.

 

Think we can get Jack to post some of his pictures ?

 

I'm home! I have to agree what a great show! It was nice to see everyone again, running the Dragons Tail with the guys was a highlight.
Good friends getting together, great looking trucks - life is good!

I'm home. I got home about 5:30, but didn't get the laptop out til just now....and I'm exhausted and have to work at 6a, so I'm going to bed.

I'm so grateful to know ya'll, what a great group of guys. You don't know what it means to me, that ya'll involve me and treat me like you've known me forever. [Bet if ya'll spent more time with me, you wouldn't be so friendly....uh oh, here comes that crazy girl... haha. Just kidding!]

And yes, thanks Stanley for all your hard work, and the hard work of your wonderful staff. It was a great time indeed and I wish we could get together more often.

I have 300 pics, probably 200 of them are truck pics, the rest are mountains and me entertaining myself while I drive, haha.

I'll try to get things uploaded and sorted out tomorrow.

DR Smith - I have your Top Panel plaque... I guess I wound up with it because I live closest to you. Shoot me a private message or email with your info and I'll mail it, or meet up with you at a local cruise in.. I'm always lookin for a reason to ride to the mountains and I'll probably do the Moonshine Cruise in Hiawassee.

 

I'm home too!! I agree with all the others THANKS to Stanley and all the whole staff who put the show on!! What an awesome show it is I have to agree with homade and Hammered The Dragon's Tail was the highlight of the trip. Even if I didnt drive it as fast as them or Jeff AKA Mechmagcn it was a blast. It rained most of the way up I75 but cleared off after that.

Lance Hogan was so nice he tuned My carb, Hammered's carb, and William's carb. I dont know about the other's but I went fron 12 MPG's to 17.5 MPG's by just switching the metering rod springs Lance is the carb man!! In the words of Mellisa "Wheeeeeeeeeee!!" My wife got some killer video of The Dragon's Tail and some great pics and will put them on soon or I'll send them to someone who can See yall next year and thanks again to all who made this a great show.

P.S. to all who are wondering YES I did break my record and managed to get 3 Krispy Kreme donuts in my mouth at one time!! YUM!

 

Glad you all had a good time. Lord Willing I will make it next year.

 

Lance is the carb man! fuel mileage on mine went from 10-11 to 14 and this was running hard on the way home.

I had my iPod handy...for a video, but in all the excitement, I kinda forgot to video myself... I was having too much fun. But yeah, video would have been good, cause I seriously doubt you'll ever EVER get me to do something like that again...
