This truck is the perfect project for the show car enthusiast. I drove it home on Saturday and I could tell immediately that it is a low mileage truck. I bought this truck with the intent to tear apart for my F250 project but this truck is tooooo nice to tear apart. It is a XLT Lariat, AC, CC, RSW, tow package, painted to match truck fiberglass topper, American Racing wheels, reese hitch in rear bumper and brake controller. What it needs is a fuel pump, brake work, paint touched up. The body is completely solid(I haven't seen one in this shape without body work being done) with body work done. It has
aluminum intake, 4bbl Holley carb and roller rockers/double roller timing change and an advanced timing gear set (corrects smog retarded stock one).
Also has lighted running boards. A must see to appreciate! I just want to get my money back out of it since I do not want to tear it apart-I want to see it at a car show someday, but I am not a paint/body guy. Look at my garage for pics.
Well, where in Indiana are you? What kind of body work needs done? Are we talking surface rust, or scratches and dings? You mentioned a fuel pump and brakes. I'm guessing it can't be driven? Last question, and I've learned to ask this every time: Does it have a clear title? I'm sure it does, but you can never be too sure.
Only surface rust, clear title, and I drove it home at 60mph once I primed the carb-the pump is weak. I am located between Frankfort and Kokomo. I have someone interested in the bed and another in the motor/trans. Thanks for looking
If your F150 is still for sale, could you send me some info on where you are between Kokomo and Frankfort? If it's not too far, I'd like to maybe come take a look at the truck. I would be coming from Lizton, near Indy. I'm only about 40 minutes or so from Frankfort, but Kokomo is a different story.
You can email me at dugan5150@yahoo.com
I have sold the motor/trans and the bed, the rest is available if you are interested. I am approx 15 miles east of Frankfort or 7 miles east of Clinton Central HS
