i have a 97 7.3 psd i replaced the tie rods on labor day let it warm up to take it for a test drive and it stalled backin out of the driveway and hasnt
started since. I replaced the cps, icp
changed the oil, and pulled the
driver side valve cover and
checked the harness (havent had
the chance to check the pass
side) its gettin fuel to the top of
the motor and i can smell raw fuel
coming out of the tail pipe y wont
it start?
are you getting a wait to start light? if not check fuse #22 under the hood. it controlls the pcm and the fuel bowl heater can short out and cause it to blow
Even if you checked the fuses, pull the fuel filter out and look at your fuel bowl heater. It will slosh around in there until it contacts the side of the bowl, and it will shut the truck off like the key. It rests on 3 soldier pucks and more often than not, it breaks loose.
Also, while checking the tin nut on the IPR, look at the pigtail wires that go to it. I often see those eaten up by fuel and shorted out. Take a good look at them. And even though you changed the cam sensor, I would not rule it out.
