After market...

Hi all,

I just purchased a new F250 with the 6.2L. I am a performance junky so I am already looking for the aftermarket support....Does anyone have available the basics yet>? ie- intake, exhaust, tuner...etc?

I have a sniper tuner I use for my mustang, does anyone else here use sniper tuning? Any idea if they have updates available for the new 6.2 yet? I saw 5star had info on his website about tunes, but I didn't actually see the programmers. I have an SCT2 from an old truck, but it is VIN locked..oops.

Looking forward to the feedback, thanks guys!

Look Up Mike Butler @ 5Star Tuning - He is a sponsor here & can get you what you need or at least tell you whats avail. - Look at some of the links here in this forum - - Gibson exhaust/ Tuners etc.. he's got a 6.2 and has been tuning it since early Spring...

To tune the 6.2L you will need the X3 device it has the proper firmware to handle the new PCM in the 6.2L.

By the way welcome to FTE be sure to post up pics of your rig too..

Well I have videos and pictures, but I can't figure out how to post them...this format is different than the other forums I frequent..I'll go look through the new member section, maybe there is some info there.

Wow. Never ran into so many rules and stipulations and issues with posting pictures or attachments...you guys ought to check out mustangforums.com...they have a great format.

Here is a link to my photobucket album, about the best I can do on here...there is a video in there of the exhaust without anything past the resonator. I am running it like this now, I removed the back half of the exhaust system completely.

Nice truck - I wish that I hadn't got use to the room of a SuperCab I would love to be back in a regular cab. That's gonna be a great 4x4... Good luck!

Thanks! Honestly, if we werent so tight on cashflow, we would have gotten the supercab...but we have an explorer for grocery getting if need be. This truck will be our weekend warrior so to speak. Not a daily driver. I have a company vehicle(the crappy little toaster oven in the background of the pics) so I don't need a daily driver.

I about half live in mine - daily driver & work truck - also the dog needs the back bench when we're on the highway -- In the pasture he likes the back unless the gooseneck is hooked up - he doesn't like that!..

Haha....wait until you hear it now...I'm going to take a video this week if it stops raining...I took the resonator off too....

So, technically speaking...the only thing between open exhaust manifolds and the actual output is the factory cat on each bank.

It's loud.

Love it.
