clutch bypass

Hi guys. I installed a remote start/alarm combo this weekend, and I need to bypass the clutch to use my remote start. I would like to wire the bypass on a switch. Anyone done this before? I saw an older thread on this, but the end result was having non functioning cruise control. Thanks in advance for the help.

Yes, that would be the old thread. I want to still be able to use.my cruise control, so I'm trying to stay away from modifying the internal parts in the black piece.

Has anyone tried putting a switch between the 12v wire and the 12v cruise wire with any success? Seems to me that you would wire the 1st and 2nd wire together?

By Jockd's list it would be 3 and 4...to make a jumper harness you would you would have to jumper the white/pink and the dark blue/orange for the starter circuit to work and jumper red/yellow and tan/light blue for the cruse to work

I cant find a print anywhere so I am assuming jockd's beak out is correct, you should be able to play with it and make it work.

#1) WH/PK is +12V power
#2) DB/OG is output to starter
#3) RD/YE is cruise control input +12V
#4) TN/LB is output to cruise control
#5) WH/PK is +12V power (May be jumpered to #1)
#6) GY/YE is signal to PCM (Gas Engine Only)

Just remember that if someone bumps the lever or leaves it in gear, and you don't have your parking brake good and tight, the truck will start, and with it's torque in a low gear, will drive itself through most obstacles like garage doors or walls.
