Two weeks ago traded 08 6.4, to many problems, for the new tire smoker. 2600 miles already. 2011 f250 xlt sc 4x4 red. Towed 3 loads 4.5 tons each starting at 650 miles then a trip to Nashville from mulberry Arkansas about 475 one way. 14.8 on meter 70-85 mph going, return 14.2 on meter 75-85 mph, empty both ways. Great truck, real truck ride, you chevy guys know what I am talking about happy to be back in gas! I realy dont see great fuel numbers coming from this truck, at 5000 miles every 6 weeks I just have to stay bussy to keep the tank full. Great truck Ford ! Hope this is your best yet.
I suspect the 6.2L will now make the gas vs. diesel debate a little more heated

It sure will. As I've stated before, these new diesels are very complex. It will probably cost huge amounts of money to make repairs to them when the warranty expires.
