ballston spa ny car show today, this "truck" attracted a lot of attention. not much protections in a rearend collision. note the cabinet ***** on the radiator grill. would have to deduct a few points for phenosealing in the windshield and rear window. tried uploading pics from computer, hope it works.otherwise you'll be wondering what i'm talking about. dick r

I kinda like it but that rear and front suspension lacks a little creativity. That window trim is darn near a deal breaker for me. However, I do like the overall look of it...from pictures. might look a little different in person?!

I'm kind of undecided!

It's alot of work and a cool theme, but makes me feel claustrophobic!

certainly doesn't have much hauling capacity. didn't happen to see it drive in, that would have been interesting, didn't actually notice if it had plates.

Looks like the driver would stand on the top of the rear spring and swing one leg over onto the seat then swing the other leg over the roof. Might be interesting to watch that, depending on what the driver looks like. LOL

good to hear another fte'er was there. yes, there were some nice trucks and some nice flatheads as well. ever nicer rat rods. i put the pics of the "53" on here just to stir the pot. the show gets bigger every year and has had good weather for the last 3. that 54 is quite nice, i'm not fond of the 54 grille, but that truck has a very nicely detailed engine compartment. the best truck show around here is the september American Truck Historical Society show at Saratoga County Fairgrounds (just up the hill from where the Way We Were show was held. ATHS draws 300+ trucks from bantams to tandems: no entree fee, no judging, gen'l admission $1: great show. come on back over next sept. dick r
