The other day I saw the back half of an old Ford pickup "pushing" a chevy along. I thought that was strange until I later saw a Chevy truck pushing a Ford truck with a very stiff chain!

I just happen to have one of those "back halves of a Ford truck", and I'll tell you, they ARE very handy for pushing other vehicles, I sometimes use it to push my Cub Cadet around the yard as well. As for the stiff chain, you must be cautious using one, I saw a guy use one hooked on a wagon to push a quad runner into a ditch after it crested the hill. They work good going up hill, not so good going down. The opposite can be said of the rear half of a ford truck.
