1979 bone stock F-250 2wd truck. It has a 400 engine, C6 auto trans, Dana 60 rear end.
Good:
Carb rebuilt last year
New fan belts
New fuel sending unit/cleaned out gas tank
All new vacuum hoses
Emissions intact [except cat. convyr]
Runs and drives
New tires last year, 95% tread remain
Compression has been tested, 140 all around
Bad:
Fuel getting in oil [think the float needs adj.]
Passenger head gasket around cylinder #8 deteriorated, so smoke visible
Minor typical rust
Nothing has been touched on this truck. It's all stock, including the factory radio. Hard to find anything more original than this. It's a AM/FM mono radio. I can't remember if it works or not. The interior is in great condition. Bench has little wear. Blue on blue. I even have the original key punchout from the dealer.
Located in D.C. metro area of MD. I also am open to trades. Looking for a sport bike, 73-78 F250 4x4, Also may part this truck out although hard to do. Title is 100% clear, in my name, ready to be signed over. Buy it now, I need it gone ASAP!
