1997 Aerostar XLT White 4.0 4X4. Don't really want to sell it : ( Great running & driving van.
If you're interested please bid on it or make offer, email or pm me. I may find a way to keep it and fix it later, but now I want to try to sell or trade it.
Been undercoated, new exhaust from catalyst back & pinstripes removed, since pics taken.
Getting a little oil in the coolant. 118,000 miles. Still runs great.
1) $2000.00 or best offer,
2) or trade for Escort/Tracer/Corolla wagon or small diesel car, truck or suv.
My 1994 Aerostar 2WD 3.0 is still going so I don't NEED two vans, & I'd like a second, higher fuel mileage commuter type car.
Mostly I don't have time, place or money to fix the cylinder head issue. I've even found good engines for $400.00 US but who would trust a used one without rebuilding it?
The van barely has 120,000 miles and been garaged all it's life in southern Missouri. Exterior, interior, headlights as close to new as any I've seen (very shiney!). Was a "Flower Car" for a funeral home. I've owned it less than a year. Great tires. 5 speed automatic. New battery. Undercoated. AWD works great.
Can be seen and driven in North Carolina. I might meet someone one state away if interested.
Any offers considered. It's a nice, rare car in the Southern US, especially in such pristine shape. I'll miss it, it drives so well. I bought it for when I was living in Iowa last winter. Has snow tires on it presently.
For those who don't know the Aerostars they are a van, kin to Rangers, Bronco IIs, Explorers and Sport-Tracs. They're known to go in snow where other 4X4 trucks won't. They can swallow full sheets of plywood, a refrigerator, a family camping, etc. AWD models get about 20 on the highway.
