Since I don’t assume there’s a huge market for dogs that can pull covers off of cars at auto shows, I was curious what Keegan does during the day-to-day.
Last week at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show, Ford unveiled their new Police Interceptor Utility based on the new Ford Explorer platform. But the real star of the show was Keegan, the dog who pulled the covers off of the Interceptor Utility in front of the world’s automotive press.
In addition to having cop brakes and cop suspension, the new Police Interceptor can either have a 3.7L V6 engine making 304 horsepower, or the 3.5L EcoBoost making 365 horsepower.
A new Mustang and F-150 bowed last year at dealerships. One vehicle that seems to be missing from all of this news is a new, redesigned Ford Taurus. Is there one coming?
Since the Explorer is being refreshed this year, it’s only logical to see a new version of their Police Interceptor. Ford will show off the new Police Interceptor at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show.
