TRUCKED UP This Ford Explorer Died for the Sake of a Good Time
Ooh, boy. There’s a lot going on in the following video. Most of it is really cool. The clip features rock music, girls in bikinis, and a 50-caliber machine gun. Here’s the catch, Blue Oval lovers: that BFG gets unloaded on a battered Ford Explorer.
Even though it is the first of April, sales figures are no joke. For the month of March, Ford sold 10% more F-Series pickups at retail last month than the did the year before.
Since I don’t assume there’s a huge market for dogs that can pull covers off of cars at auto shows, I was curious what Keegan does during the day-to-day.
Last week at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show, Ford unveiled their new Police Interceptor Utility based on the new Ford Explorer platform. But the real star of the show was Keegan, the dog who pulled the covers off of the Interceptor Utility in front of the world’s automotive press.
In addition to having cop brakes and cop suspension, the new Police Interceptor can either have a 3.7L V6 engine making 304 horsepower, or the 3.5L EcoBoost making 365 horsepower.
