This week’s Hump Day Jump is a bit unorthodox, but all around hilarious.
The Ford Explorer is best known today for being one of the most popular models in the history of the sport utility vehicle segment, but back in the late 1970s, Explorer was a special premium upgrade package for the Ranger trimline of the Ford F-100 and F-150 pickup.
Since 1990, Ford has sold more than 7 million Explorers. If you have one of them and are thinking about getting a newer one, you don’t have much longer to wait until the 2016 models hit your local dealer’s lot.
