Roush Can Build You a 600 Horsepower F-150, But There’s a Catch

Not too long ago we shared with you a 2015 Roush F-150 that added $10,000 to the cost of a pickup truck, but didn’t add a single bit of extra performance. As it turns out, Roush had other plans in the works, and now you can get yourself a F-150, powered by a Coyote V6 engine, that makes 600 horsepower! Now that’s more like it!

But there’s a catch. And no, it’s not the price. The catch is that it’s not 50 state CARB legal, meaning that you can’t pass vehicle inspection in 11 states. But if you live in a state that doesn’t care, you’re good to go!

Thanks to some forced induction of the supercharger variety, the V8 in the Roush F-150 makes 600 horsepower and 557 lb-ft of torque. A TVS2300 supercharger system and a custom exhaust are what make it possible.

The truck gets unique 20″ rims and Mickey Thompson rubber. Also to help with the off-roading, the truck receives Fox 2.0 racing shocks, which should give it similar off-road performance to the new Raptor.

Basically, if you’re looking for a high-horsepower, V8-powered new Raptor, Roush has you covered. All you need to do is supply a F-150 XLT or higher trim truck and $22,600 of your own money and they’ll make it happen.
