2016 Rolex 24 Ford GT Mega Gallery
We all know that last weekend was the first outing of the new Ford GT race car at the Rolex 24 hour race at Daytona International Speedway. There was a lot of hype surrounding the race, and people expected the Ford GT to take home the victory. That wasn’t the case, but the Ford GT still had a good showing.
Both the #66 and #67 Ford GTs experienced similar gearbox issues throughout the race, but both cars managed to complete the entire 24 hours and still managed to beat out a few other cars in the class. Mostly, they learned a great deal and will apply that knowledge and experience for the 12 Hours of Sebring next month.
