HUMP DAY JUMP Ford Ranger Jumps General Lee Style
When we think of the Ford Ranger, the first thing that pops into our minds is certainly not the Dukes of Hazzard ’69 Charger. After all, there are several major differences. First off, one is a truck and the other is a car.
Secondly, one is built Ford tough and the other is simply Mopar. Lastly, the Ranger is your daily driver and General Lee is from a TV show. But despite all of their differences, these two polar opposites have one thing in common: They can jump.
This video is pretty different compared to most of Ford Ranger jumps we see here on FTE, primarily because these guys didn’t just go out and jump just because it seemed like a good idea. Instead, they jumped this sturdy old Ranger in order to get footage they needed for film class. Or so they claim.
Whatever the reason, it’s a pretty superb leap complete with beer cans flying from the bed and the Dukes of Hazzard theme song playing in the background. What more could be asked for?
