Ford Missing Opportunity to Not Debut New Bronco with Broncos Super Bowl Win
Super Bowl 50 will go down in history for… well for something. Last night Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers 24 to 10. But the real people who missed out was Ford, who could’ve used the Broncos victory to debut a new Bronco!
Think of it, they could do a special limited edition Manning version that they’d only make 18 of them. All of them could’ve been sold at auction to go to charity. Just think of the possibilities for co-branding!
That doesn’t mean that Ford won’t pull the covers off a new Ford Bronco this week at the Chicago Auto Show, but if we were betting people, it’s probably something we’d bet against. Of course, we WANT to see a new Bronco this week, but we also want a new Raptor and $100 million. I just don’t see that happening this soon!
Of course, if the Super Bowl winners actually dictated what cars Ford would make next, I would’ve rather have seen the Carolina Panthers win. Imagine the return of the Ford Panther platform!
