Pack of 2017 Ford F-150 Raptors Caught Desert Testing

What would you do if you’re out having fun at a Californian desert when all of the sudden you run into a pack of wild raptors? Not the Jurassic Park kind, uhhh… The Ford F-150 Raptor, of course!

That’s exactly what happened to Michael Sullivan, while out at a desert near Imperial, California, Michael ran into a pack of a whopping 17 prototypes of the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor. You might think, that’s not a big deal, as we already know what the Raptor looks like, but, we’re still not all that sure what it sounds like.

We know about the Raptor’s engine and transmission of choice, but not many more details have been released for the future street model that’s bound to hit dealerships later this year.

While the audio isn’t super clear on this video, it manages to highlight the sound differences between the outgoing Ford Raptor and the new one. While I’m a big fan of the EcoBoost engines, I can’t help but love the deep V8 rumble, what about you?

After all, Raptors hunt in packs, right?
