F-150 SVT Raptor orders speed past expectations
FEBRUARY 24 FORD E-NEWSThe Ford F-150 SVT Raptor continues to take enthusiasts on a wild ride. Already, more than 5,300 orders have been placed for the new high-speed off-road performance truck. The biggest markets are in the Southwest and Texas, with strong interest also coming from Tennessee, Michigan, Colorado and Georgia. Black is the most popular color, and options such as the luxury package, moonroof and reverse camera all have take-rates of more than 79 percent. The order bank for the all-new 411-hp 6.2-liter V-8 is open, with production beginning this spring. more…

Breathe easier with new Ford cabin air filters
FEBRUARY 24 FORD E-NEWSFord is making a small change that could make a big difference for allergy sufferers, in the form of cabin air filters. The filters installed in the 2010 Ford Fusion, Mercury Milan and Lincoln MKZ are allergen-rated to remove pollen, mold spores and other airborne irritants from outside air, resulting in a cleaner, fresher cabin for occupants. The new filters will also be used on many new products, including the Fiesta, which goes on sale in North America this summer. more…
