DeBerti Decked-Out a Ford F-450 into Custom Hog Hauler

This F- 450 Super Duty built for SEMA by DeBerti Designs was altered to haul a custom motorcycle; retooling its rear end with a huge low entry, high-walled deep bed. What motorcycle owner wouldn’t want a pickup truck they could just cruise their bike right on to the low-lying bed for a wild vacation?

The DeBerti name is synonymous in America with custom trucks as well as racing Ford F-Series’ for some time contributing to their elevation to an elite caliber of craftsmen. The project’s main focus was replacing the factory bed with one of Dallas Smith Corporation’s Low-Floor Axleless Trailer beds. DeBerti didn’t just toss a commercial skeleton bed on, no way. Instead they built up a Deep-V bed architecture with high factory height-paneling to safely house a motorcycle or other riding machine. Looks big enough to walk a horse on to it so don’t think these beds are just for bikes. I imagine DeBerti could dial-in a custom bed design for your life if you so choose to have your F-Series doctored.

The axle-less rear lead them to tweak the powertrain to a front-drive only application eliminating the entire rear drive system. This will affect mileage in a good way for the long hauls to custom moto shows and group rides far away. The 6.4-Liter Powerstroke V8 likely feels meatier now sending all that brutish torque down to just two-wheels. That’ll be helpful with the family, bike and goodies towing in the back. DeBerti thought about all these areas of the truck not just it’s work-ethic. They’ve added Katzkin Leather updating the interior along with mounting matching wheels to properly fit the repainted all-black PPG exterior paint. Smartly inclusive of all areas the F-450 offers an idea of how customers can easily use DeBerti’s aftermarket engineering expertise.
