Ford Recalling More Than 200,000 Transit Connects and Escapes for Malfunctioning Instrument Panel Clusters
It’s been a few weeks since we last posted about a Ford recall, but it’s that time again. This one covers roughly 203,500 2014-2015 Transit Connect and Escape vehicles in North America.
One the bigger complaints from auto journalists and buyers alike about newer Ford vehicles is the infotainment system called MyFord Touch. It combines all the power of Ford’s SYNC system, and adds navigation, an enhanced touch screen interface, and more.
Heads up diesel fans, if you enjoy “rolling coal” everywhere you go, you better not head to New Jersey anytime soon.

If you own a 2015 F-150, or a litany of other Ford vehicles outlined later in this article, you might be receiving a recall notice in the mail. Approximately 600,000 vehicles total are subject to today’s recall affecting a variety of different system components.
