BUILDUP A 1979 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT Project
Everyone just has to love an old school Bronco. Even to this day there is a huge demand to resurrect this truck from the dead, and we couldn’t agree more.
FTE member Josh (A.K.A. “Snowymountainman“) has taken on building a 1979 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT, and it seems to be going quite well. We’re glad to see that he has taken on the build, and it is certainly worthy of being featured today!
Though the rig itself was already very reliable and a great daily driver prior to when Josh decided to take on the build. His goal with the whole thing is to simply have a capable and reliable 4×4 that he can use for playing in the mountains near his home. He also hopes to keep the 460-equipped beast at about 9-10 miles per gallon.
So far he has added Hankook Dynapro M/t RT03 tires, a Rough Country 4″ lift, a winch, a home-made bumper to mount the winch to, a new stereo, and more. He has a little ways to go before its exactly where he wants it to be, but we’re excited to see where this goes!
