A Clean, Simple and Beautiful 1966 Ford F-100

When it comes to classic Ford trucks, sometimes keeping things basic and simple is the best direction to take. There are many wild and crazy builds in the truck scene, but are they really necessary? 1960’s Ford trucks are some of the best-looking ever produced, and look fantastic in their stock garb.

Case in point – this 1966 F-100. It doesn’t get much more basic than this white, regular cab, short bed pickup with hub caps. But while the word “simple” gets a bad wrap these days, sometimes it isn’t such a bad thing.

This ’66 is a super clean example of a classic truck. With fresh paint and trim that has either been replaced or polished, it proudly wears the simplicity it once created with.  The original 352 motor still lives under the hood, and is backed up by a 3-speed manual transmission. A new dual-exhaust and fresh tires round out the package.

So why mess with a good thing? While there are plenty of folks out there that are always looking to improve their trucks, this ’66 is a great example of why sometimes it’s better to just leave them alone.  It’s hard to mess with perfection, even in it’s most simple form.
